Bread is Dead


Well, having reached the final exam doesn't mean I'll stop blogging. I made my first 3DS max 2010 animation for the FX blog, what I have figured out so far:

- there are quite some new features (mostly useful ones)

- mental ray has become a tad nicer to work with but I am getting the impression it takes a bit longer now, too

- the material libraries have grown (which is nice)

- the preview (the window you work in) supports hardwareshading now, so the lighting systems are way easier to adjust

- I kinda think the hair and fur modifier is looking way better now, but maybe that's just me

- Autodesk Mudbox suxx ass without a tablet

- I'll figure out other new stuff soon
