After having talked to Johan today I decided to go a step further with my beloved 1967 Volkswagen T1. The color is still a matter of taste (and will probably change later on), but so far I have
- built doors (more work than you'd think, yet you still can't open them. But it's sufficient for my project)
- added hinges
- added ventilation slots (still some missing, liked it better this way)
- finetuned geometry (9.925 polys so far, 372.809 with a triple mesh smooth)
- redid the entire material library (learned quite a lot about that these past days)
- rebuilt the rims and tires from scratch since the old ones kinda sucked (didn't have the original look)
- replaced lighting system by daylight simulation
One day she'll be mine!
