Anyway, me and my misses cleaned the appartment today, I installed a couple of iron bands on the wall in order to have control over my storyboard (pictures coming up as soon as the storyboard is done...) and I cleaned my computer.
Now I know the last point sounds trivial, for sure, but let me assure you this: It's a lot harder and more disgusting than it sounds. I didn't just clean the case, but the radiators, the CPU, my beloved graphics card, I took all the drives and cards out, q-tipped contacts and drive slots, opened my keyboard (boy, there was some gross stuff in there), then I rewired everything (actually lost two big fat wires I don't really need - who needs a floppydrive anyway?) and voila!
It runs like hell. All temperatures at about 12°C lower (the dust worked like a blanket I suppose), the stupid sound my CPU-fan made above 65°C vanished and the whole thing looks better, too!
Other than that, I am exhausted. And that's exactly why I am going to take the rest of the day off.
Quid sit futurum cras, fuge quaerere.

EDIT: Now it's 9.15 pm - so much for taking the rest of the day off -.- instead I decided to create a multilingual Project description which you can see in the upper left corner of this blog.
